IUS hires 2 new administrators

Three IUS departments were without a director this summer. Two of the departments have now hired new directors and only one position remains open. The position that remains open is for the director of Residence Life. Because the fall semester is starting with no official director, one of the campus administrators is going to be overseeing Residence Life.

Student activity fee distributed

Along with tuition, parking and technology fees, all IUS students pay a Student Activity Fee. The fee is calculated at $5 per credit hour, up to 12 hours, so the maximum any student pays per semester is about $60.

New parking permits

IU Southeast has implemented a new parking permit program this year. Beginning with the fall semester, all students parking on campus must display the new parking permit on their car’s windshield.

Students build boxes to sleep in for Barricade of Boxes on Wednesday, April 15. Students and faculty volunteered to sleep outdoors to gain awareness about the homeless from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Web site to track plagiarism
