The Hoosier Room came to life with colorful lights, glow sticks, music and dancing on Aug. 28 as Cyntrix mixed a variety of electronic music ranging from dubstep to hip-hop. The event was presented by the Student Program Council.

Between the LED hula hooping and the twerking competition, it was a night full of surprises.

The champion twerker, Courtney Hidalgo of the sorority Phi Sigma Sigma, said “I won because all my sisters were cheering me on.”

The second place runner-up of the twerking competition, Cameron Schoenbachler, joked that the judging was questionable. “It was fixed,” he said.
